A new blog: Working Smart to Deliver Quality

In my book – Succeeding with Use Cases: Working Smart to Deliver Quality – I noted that innovation and ways of working smarter often arise when ideas from multiple areas are combined, suggesting future improvements in use case-driven development might likely come from the cross-pollination of use cases with other disciplines of software engineering.

Whereas that book took a broad but shallow approach – the synergy from uses cases coupled with a smorgasbord of software disciplines  -- my second book, Use Cases Levels of Test, takes a deep dive into one area where cross-pollination has already taken place: software testing.

A common theme in both books was the idea of "working smart", a theme that continues to resonate with me, hence the name of this blog. I'm going to begin this blog by revisiting topics from Use Case Levels of Test. But over the course of the blog I plan to also share materials ranging over a wider range of topics from my 30+ years in software development and test process management.

I hope you find this blog useful !

- Cheers .. Richard Denney
